Bead & Butt Oak Cottage Door - 3 Boards
Durable oak with beautiful character
Every piece of oak that we use in our cottage doors is hand selected to ensure only the best oak is chosen, with character and grain detail.
Simple to trim to required size
Our cottage doors are designed so that they can be easy to fit. Ledges are set in from the edge of the door for easy trimming when fitting.
Wide boards for a unique style
We offer one of the most unique styles of oak cottage door, using 3 wide boards to make up the overall width of the door rather than 4 or 5.
Thicker door to provide a superior look
Our cottage doors are machined to a thicker than average 44mm, offering a more appealing door than the usual 40mm cottage style doors.
Do I need to do any work to these before fitting?
We make sure that all of our oak cottage doors are machined, sanded, and finished by hand to ensure that you receive an excellent product. We recommend you finish your doors with an oil or wax to enhance the look and longevity of the doors, though we make sure that what we send is ready to finish as soon as it arrives to you.
Do I need to trim to size?
We provide our doors in size options that are most likely to fit, though some trimming may be needed depending on your door frame width. Either way, we make sure that these doors can be trimmed but still keep the desired look by insetting the ledges by 5mm either side.
What is the difference between these doors and other cottage style doors I've found?
Whereas you'll likely find that most cottage doors have an overall 40mm thickness, our cottage doors are machined to be 44mm overall. Although not sounding like a lot, the additional 4mm really adds a superior feel and look to the door. We also use a unique style of 3 wide boards making up the width of the door, whereas other styles often use 5 or 6 boards. This new style gives them a real wow factor.
